GITP Blood Bowl League Wiki

In every arena of life, there's always someone who has to spoil the fun for everyone else. In Blood Bowl, these people are called referees, and they are paid handsomely for doing so. Some referees, though, are not above augmenting their income with a backhander from a team, or an individual player, to turn a blind eye to some of the more flagrant abuses of the rules taking place under their noses. Buying off a referee is rarely cheap, but for some teams it's just the way they play.

In the GITP league, referees have proven unusually honest, since Season II at least when new rules were brought in to regulate the practice of bribing. Since then, under Crow's watchful eye, referees have limited their ill-gotten gains to accepting pocket change to look the other way as a player gets in an extra kick or two. They remain eagle-eyed and vigilant when it comes to secret weapons and other rules violations.
